What Vehicles HR Driving Licence holders can drive:
Trucks and buses with a GVM more than 8 tons, and 3 or more axles.
Bendy buses, even though these vehicles are articulated, they’re treated as rigid vehicles.
1- Requirements
P1 licence can’t practice driving an HR vehicle, or upgrade to an HR licence until you hold a P2 or full class C licence

Unconditional HR truck licence
Unconditional Constant mesh = Road rangers= Crash box= Eaton Fuller
You need to do training and assessment (test) with Constant mesh Gearbox trucks.
HR conditional licence (condition B)
You need to train and assesst with Auto or Synchromesh gearbox. In both cases you will get condition B licence.

The HR Automatic or Synchromesh is good entry level licence into the road transport industry as it is not expensive compare to unconditional HR licence but obtain with lots of job opportunities on offer, as a lot of modern trucks are no longer using crash gearboxes even if you want to drive a dump trucks (all automatic gearboxes), a HR Condition Licence will cover you.
